Great improvement over stock/OEM. I am staying with the four drum brakes, and by adding a dual line, power boost system it adds safety to driving an old car such as my 1954 Chevy sedan. The bracket bolts to the frame, saving time and headaches, and is well made. You will need build skills to install, and a good knowledge of brake systems to make it work. Since every car will be slightly different, plan on enlarging the hole in the floorpan where the brake pedal passes through. Also know that once installed, the master cylinder will be much further back, requiring another access hole to be made to check and fill the reservoir, otherwise you will have to access it under the car. No instructions come with this unit. I chose this unit because I have to repair my floorpans anyway, and not concerned with modifications. I love the fact that the master cylinder, booster unit, and bracket are matched and fit as a unit. You will need to add a proportioning valve, and residual pressure valves to suit your application, whether retaining drum brakes, or switching to disk brakes. More info available at Speedway Motors!
