First, this is heavy. It weighs probably 25 - 30 lbs just on its own. It is solidly built! When you place this on a wall, you will want to be sure that you are securing it to studs. If it is going between studs, you will want to remove some of the drywall and use blocking to ensure it is securely attached. This is designed to hold larger TV's securely and has a variety of attachment points to make it adaptable to most TV brands and mounting patterns.Features I love: The arm extends out and can swing either left or right - making it perfect if you want to mount it so the TV is going across a corner. It also tilts the screen up or down, giving you a great viewing angle. I also like that it has a power bar built into it with a 6-foot cord. That makes it so much easier to contain the power cord and eliminates the potential need for an extra extension cord, depending on where you are mounting it and where the wall outlets are located. This makes it very easy to control the cord chaos going to and from your TV. Just zip-tie the cords to the mounting arm.Again, the only drawback is the weight. However, I also recognize that if you are mounting a gigantic TV with this, you need that weight to support the TV.This is a solid, well-made television mount. It includes all the hardware you need—even a level. Depending on whether you need to add blocking to your wall, it can take a bit of time to mount it. Follow the directions. They are good directions, and they will save you time. I found this out the hard way!
